Observation notes: Warm day with little wind. Noticed this swallowtail nectaring on a small dandelion like flower. Never saw the upper view of wings. Was able to get just one picture. Thought at the time that it was an Anise Swallowtail and the picture proved me right. This is the first Anise Swallowtail I've found on the Big River Haul Rd. Plenty of fennel but few of these butterflies.
