Observation notes: Photo taken of female Eastern Tailed-blue on beautiful sunny day in Southwestern Lawrence, Kansas near Clinton Lake. She is feeding on Panicled Aster (many butterflies were!) Inside of wings shimmer with color in the sunlight. Weather: 65 degrees, 50% humidity, sunny. Size: Approx. 1"
