Observation notes: Lateral view photo taken of Orange Sulphur (or mated version of Orange Sulphur with Clouded Sulphur) feeding on Panicled Aster in meadow in Southwestern Lawrence, Kansas. LOTS and lots of butterflies (and other 'critters') out on this day! Deeper, more orange-yellow color than Clouded Sulphur. Weather: 65 degrees, approx. 50% humidity—perfect sunny day. Size: Slightly larger than typical Clouded Sulphur.
