Observation notes: It was first noticed on the east facing side of our garage from approximately 1:30p ET until 10p ET. It hung on tight to the painted cedar wood wall, which is under a Canadian Maple. It was mid 60s and windy most of the day with light rain. At 10p it was gone. Tje rain and wind had increased. It measured approximately 2.5" tall. I was able to put my fingers next to it several times without it flying away.
