Observation notes: First saw it on my screen door about 8 a.m.; it was still there when I returned home about 6 p.m. It did not move until I gently nudged it onto a stick. I placed it onto a flat stone to get a better photo and it finally fluttered its wings for a couple of minutes then flew away into the nearby woods.
