Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: It was climbing up the side of my friend's house. Pine, aspen, and spruce area.
Status: Resident
Verified by: A_baldini
Verified date: December 16, 2017
Coordinator notes: This is certainly the larvae of Lophocampa ingens, which feed on pinon, lodgepole, and ponderosa pines. The adult moth is beautiful; it might be fun to raise the larvae if you find more in the future.
