Phyllira Tiger Moth
Grammia phyllira

Observation date: May 01, 2017
Submitted by: Eldavenport
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Two banded tiger moths were quietly present on my rug indoors! Our windows are usually closed, so I can only guess they came in two days ago when my husband propped the door open. I put them outside in the grass. I saw the orange underside. One appeared to be dead, as she just fell off the card I had slipped under. I can't find life style info to find out if they go still when threatened.
