Observation notes: In group of Eastern Tiger Swallowtails, I observed one to be larger and more pale than the others. I uploaded two images one of the group and the second a closeup.

Coordinator notes: The subject of this submission is the large, pale Papilio. Identified as Papilio appalachiensis based on (1) the obvious contrast in color and size compared to the surrounding P. glaucus, (2) time of year, and (3) location.
