Observation notes: This caterpillar was found in Houston, Texas 77095. He was active and crawling on the rim of a clay pot that had a bunch of dead, fallen, Live Oak leaves and some succulents. Located in the shady part of driveway on the east side of our house, on 04/27/17 at 6:50pm.
He was very active and fun to watch until I put him in a terrarium. Then he stopped moving, but was not injured or dead. Weather was clear, low humidity for the area, mild temps 75ish degrees. You can share my photographs and rename with the correct genus & species if you can identify it.
