Observation notes: Caterpillar was on a mealy sage in a mixed live oak and Texas red oak woodland with open grassy areas.

Coordinator notes: BAMONA using old genus name Sphinx, now in genus Lintneria. Very few photos of this species larva, these are excellent. Consider submitting to Moth Photographers Group and bugguide.net.
