Observation notes: The weather was sunny and light winds right off the California Coast. We are 90% sure that the host plant is some variation of Willow, and surrounding plants include: buckwheat, Marah macrocarpus! We found it not more than a mile from the Pacific Ocean waters in San Clemente, Southern California.
