Observation notes: The caterpillar was found on Genista monspessulana(French Broom) at UCSC. They were seen right after rain and on sunny days. The caterpillar was inactive for long periods of time,, only moving to feed before stopping all activity and laying idle where ever it was. (I have only been able to locate the caterpillar on French Broom and it does not seem to consume other plants I give to it as far as I can tell)
