Coordinator notes: Note there is quite a lot of confusion between Acmon Blue and Lupine Blue, even on BAMONA. (Look at the range maps of both species here). It seems the current sway of opinion is that Acmon Blue represents the inland western populations while Lupine Blue is primarily in CA-NV. This is what is shown in the Swift and Kaufman Butterfly Guides, and so that is the basis for my calling this Acmon. See bugguide.net for some more info, and a different opinion.
