Observation notes: I am not used to seeing any great numbers of these butterflies. We noticed them crossing the highway in groups. When we stopped about 15 miles north of Childress, TX, a group of about 50 came by us and stopped for minerals out of a puddle before flying on. I don't find this species listed on BaMoNA for this county however. I am not reading that they migrate either but it sure looked like a migration. Any information appreciated on this.
