Observation notes: Found on the leaves of Mexican Olive / Texas Wild Olive (cordia boissieri) tree branches that had been cut the prior day (after seeing several sphinx caterpillars in the tree after I did some trimming I thought I'd better check the previously trimmed branches before recycling them). Was not observed feeding so not sure if this is the true host plant?
