Pink-edged Sulphur
Colias interior

Observation date: July 28, 2016
Submitted by: 4wildlife
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Sunny day at the top of Cadillac Mountain, Acadia.
Status: Resident
Verified by: rosslayberry
Verified date: September 11, 2016
Coordinator notes: No orange colour, so not Orange Sulphur. No series of small brownish marks on the underside, so not the much commoner Clouded Sulphur. It is a Pink-edged Sulphur. I don't know Cadillac Mountain, but I bet there is blueberry near the summit. It is the foodplant of this species. Ross Layberry
