Observation notes: we found this fellow on a goldenrod plant ( Solidago, spp. ) in our garden. I'm not sure if he/she was feeding on it, or just happened to be there. The other plants around include eastern white cedar, a honeysuckle bush, clematis, black eyed susans, anenome, rose and solomon's seal.
