Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Not sure -but it is a very camouflaged caterpillar attached to my eucalyptus plant (in a pot in central Ohio -whose head comes out to eat my eucalyptus plant. It moves to a new branch when leaves are gone on the branch that he was eating. The first picture shes him eating with his head out of the cocoon(?) 7/27/16. The second was taken today 7/29/16. I've been watching him for about 10 days. The host plant is a eucalyptus that I keep in a pot because Ohio is too cold to grow them.
