Observation notes: Several speyeria were passing through same area, some stopping to nectar. The adiaste was nectaring on coyote mint. The others that stopped were callippe.

Coordinator notes: Possibly a new location for this species. It might be worthwhile to examine museum collections in San Francisco and Berkeley. In any case, good going on an important record.
