Observation notes: Scores of these heavily-marked skippers were out and about foraging on a purple clover. I only took a few photos of this individual, which I have narrowed down to a Green Skipper based on the shape of the HW spot band.

Coordinator notes: you are looking at the right character, but this individual falls in the gray area, with the last spot not displaced inward to wing base or outward toward wing margin. Since H. pahaska hilltops and H. viridis patrols drainages, viridis is more likely. great shot!
