Grapevine Epimenis
Psychomorpha epimenis

Observation date: June 06, 2016
Submitted by: holla for the e...
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The caterpillar was wandering on a wild grape leaf who's vine was entangled in a small young tree (not sure of kind at moment) It was partial cloudy, breezy and a moderate temperature of about 23C but with breeze felt slightly cooler. Host plant was located in a slightly overgrown area of small young trees and a few larger, more mature trees. The mature trees were HAwthorn, Ashes, and Kentucky Coffee trees. The small ones we are currently unsure of however they made up the majority of the tree cover. There is a man made lagoon being re-naturalized within 5-10 meters of area.
