Observation notes: Temp around 70F, midday, sun had just come out after a foggy morning. Found on a sand dune well-vegetated with native coastal strand plants. The specific plant the caterpillar is sitting on is beach evening primrose (Camissoniopsis cheiranthifolia). The caterpillar did not appear to be moving. Only one was seen.
