Observation notes: Cooler 70 degree day after the rain storms this past weekend, breezy. It was nectaring for at least 30 minutes on the tiny daisy-like weeds in our back lawn. A piece of the forewing is missing, revealing the brown border on the dorsal forewing. I am stumped by the ruffled appearance of the wing, and did not know if this is a different variety.
