Observation notes: While leaving from a medical appointment in Des Moines, Iowa I was standing next to a pillar of the building and happened to notice what appears to be a chryalis. Friend took pictures with smartphone. I was unable to find anything on the internet so I thought I would submit it to you for identification. Thank you.
