Genista Broom Moth
Uresiphita reversalis

Observation date: September 25, 2015
Submitted by: Ceci
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The close-up is not the plant they are on. The distant shot showing them decimating a bonsai of unknown identity is where I found them, it is commonly called a "coffee" plant or tree but is not a member of the coffee family, it is under a large pine tree. There are no other plants with these on them in the vicinity. You can use my pictures any way you'd like - public domain. This was taken on a warm, sunny day on Sherman Island in the Delta in California.
