Observation notes: When I found this caterpillar it was on a very late, warm summer morning. I found it inside my workplace. It was treading uneasily and flopping over. I don't know how long it may have been indoors for or if it recently roamed in through the door we kept open all morning. I also have a video of it walking and the pincers on it's behind seemed to be in active, working condition.
