Observation notes: Nectaring on rabbitbrush by roadside. Temperature in low 90's. Hazy sunshine with some smoke from wildfires burning in California. Moths, skippers, and bumblebees were also present at the site.

Coordinator notes: This appears to be subspecies snyderi and the date appears too late for macaria. Subtle markings and wing shape suggest coronis though zerene can fly this late in season, but would likely be worn-Ken Davenport
