Observation notes: I found it in the beach volleyball sand pit, but there are many trees hanging over that and it must have dropped down, as it is very colorful and the sand is bright white and I found it so suddenly. It sometimes seems to just stop moving and appears dead, but then a few minutes later it is active again. It crawled around it the tank that I gave it, and at this moment it dug itself in under the grass. It was a pretty hot day. There are many maple and oak trees near where I found it.
