Observation notes: Observed moths in open pasture area surrounded by forest in the Blue Lake area near the Mad River, on shrubby perimeter of a pond. Moths were sitting on an open blackberry leaf in the late afternoon. Weather was overcast. Moths appeared to be mating, were not disturbed by my taking the photograph (no zoom was used for this photo).
