Observation notes: I found 4 of these caterpillars resting on a couple leaves of my Macintosh Apple tree they had eaten all the leaves off of one of the small branches. I live on the edge of the woods (pine and fir mostly) with a wetland area nearby. There are also cottonwood and elderberries, wild roses, etc that live in the area.
