Rheumaptera subhastata

Observation date: July 01, 2015
Submitted by: Paul Prappas
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Initially chased, thinking it was a butterfly. Photographed at Stagleap Pass, southern British Columbia. Stagleap is around 5000 + feet high. The area where photographed is still quite forested. The photo was taken while it rested on what is an old logging road.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: Tentative ID - subhastata and hastata cannot be differentiated by photos, need genitalia dissection. But don't want to lose this data.
