Observation notes: Day started partly cloudy, by time of photo it was total cloud cover. high about 80, slight drizzle put most everything to roost except the mountain birds. elevation around 6,000 ft laguna mountain pine forest with cedar and a few scattered red and white fur . on golden yarrow. meadows small stream near by.very dry year due to three year drought continuing to forth year! Have read that this butterfly was here, surprised to finally find one this far south. not far from the mexican border
