Observation notes: We were conducting a NABA count at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. Thanks to Martin Reid for the quick I.D., and to Gary Fest, who took this photograph. This was spotted in the WaterSaver garden which is up the hill near the Conservatory. The larval food plant, Barbados Cherry (Malpighia glabra) has been planted in several areas of the gardens.
