Observation notes: I came home Friday afternoon. It was extremely hot and humid, perhaps 80F. I looked on our new cement pad and noticed this moth flitting around on the cement seeming to pick something off the cement. It had rained and there were parts of leaves and debris on the cement. It was not flying around near flowers. However, we have a lot of Virginia Creeper here where I have spotted other sphinx moths.
