Coordinator notes: I identified this from the plate picture in Fascicle 21 of The Moths of America North of Mexico by Ronald Hodges (1971). This is subspecies occidentalis (Clark) and Glenwood Springs is from where some of the type specimens were collected (also Boulder Co.). There is no picture of this moth in the newer Powell-Opler Moths of Western North America which covers only about 25% of the moth species.
