Observation notes: 'This picture was taken in Ricketts Glen State Park in Northeast Pennsylvania I am not aware of the host plant - The caterpillar was on the hiking path. There was some trillium and shamrocks nearby. The hiking path was in the forest so there were many kinds of trees surrounding us.
