Observation notes: Several of these are flitting about our (largely native) wildflower meadow below the house, but were mainly interested in the lavender near the patio. Several were chasing (?) others of the same butterfly…perhaps mating behaviour?
The weather was about 85F/30C, sunny, with low humidity.
