Observation notes: If the ID is correct, what fun! In a clearing, but with alpine conifer forest and aspens nearby, about 9880 feet. Many wildflowers. Sunny, warm, calm to a light breeze.

Coordinator notes: what fun indeed! first of this year in NM, as far as I know. and at almost 10,000 feet is wacky. maybe it's the winds bringing them in.
