Observation notes: Puddling and visiting Spineless Horsebrush and Marsh Cudweed flowers near Spring South of Tehachapi Mountain. Sulphur Buckwheat host plants nearby. Should be subspecies Comstocki based on location. Sunny day in the 60’s F. Wanted to document the somewhat unusual behavior vs. staying on or near the Buckwheat host plant.
