Observation notes: There were lots of greater fritillaries flying in this location today and I saw this one right next to a noticeably larger individual with amber eyes. This one's eyes look a bit grayish to me, it's darker on in the basal area of the upper wings, and it was on the smaller side, so I'm suggesting Northwestern. The larger individual (Aphrodite) was following this one around and regularly approaching it though, so I might be wrong.
