Observation notes: Butterfly nectaring on Oxeye Daisy. Partly cloudy day alternating sun and shadow. Specific site for this sighting is roadside with open forest at the entrance to Conner's Camp Trailhead parking lot which is approximately 5.6 miles up Marys Peak Forest Road from the junction with Highway 34. Broad, moist, weedy roadside opening surrounded by conifer forest with an understory of native plants.
