Coordinator notes: ssp. picta. Greater fritillaries of the west are tough with much intraspecific variation regionally. I lean on the Pelham List to identify (https://butterfliesofamerica.com/US-Can-Cat.htm). I'm not sure who is vetting sightings for Alberta, but I don't see submissions outside the area the site has assigned to me.
