Coordinator notes: This is the Silver-bordered...looks like a newly emerged male...Bog Fritillary maybe up higher on Milner Pass in a scrubby willow bog and usually hard to get photos. This is another species that has been "refined" through genetics. The name selene is European and the name replacing it here in the Nearctic (North America) is myrina...the earliest defined subspecies being elevated to a species-level taxon. Mike
