Coordinator notes: Looking at the underside view and the date, coronis looks most likely, probably snyderi though the wingshape of the upperside photo could be Speyeria callippe nevadensis. Either might be out on a May 23rd, but coronis would be more likely. Any zerene up there in Washoe County would seem referable to ssp. malcolmi. These considerations are why series of specimens are best available in making determinations...Ken Davenport
