Observation notes: This is a new butterfly for this area. I’ve been surveying here for many years. Had only found Two-banded Checkered-Skippers which I thought this was until I looked at my pictures. It appears to be the only coastal record for Mendocino County on BAMONA. The day was sunny and warm.
