Coordinator notes: This is not a "for sure" identification, but I believe the closest match. The top side is much like the Rawson's Metalmark which BAMONA shows no further south than Mexico and none of those show a folded wings view like this one. The Glassberg book's "Bright Scintillant, Calephelis sp." has a top like what is shown on this photo. What appears to be green on the underside adds to the confusion. I downloaded the photo and lightened it but still not positive, though Lucianus seems to be the closest match, though not exactly like the others there (and they don't all match!). --- June 3,2025 another Coordinator marked it misidentified and suggested Rawson's which as said above was one of my first thoughts. This dark photo is not easy to identify, but I changed it to Rawson's.
