Observation notes: A female marine blue displays between ovipositing behavior while moving to different sites within a false indigobush shrub that has become established on the bank of the Rio Grande. Selected oviposition sites are emerging buds that appear to be summer-produced flowers, representing a second flowering induced by monsoon rainfall and subirrigation by the Rio Grande seasonal flow. The morning was hot, humid, sunny, and with a constant breeze.
