Small Wood-Nymph
Cercyonis oetus

Observation date: July 19, 2022
Submitted by: Paul Prappas
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Many Wood-Nymphs flying. Sometimes called the Dark Wood-Nymph, because most are very dark, but this one was very light and fooled me at first. The PM band on the HW has those twin peaks and basal finger, as well as the smaller eyespot on the FW.
Status: Resident
