Observation notes: Warm, calm, sunny fall day at 12,000 feet. This guy was perching on rocks and blending in really well (at least from the underwing side).

Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct...looks like a fairly newly emerged male, pre-hibernant. The altitude is just about at its top limit recorded. Mike
