Observation notes: I observed this moth on a Butterfly Bush at the Tioga County Pollinator Garden in Owego, NY. There was a male monarch that I was trying to photograph when this moth appeared. It was a sunny day in the low 70s. The garden features a spicebush, a hoptree, and several varieties of nectar and host plants for pollinators.
